Transaction monitoring
Transaction monitoring watches the transactions flowing through your ERP and flags the ones that match rules you define, so unusual activity surfaces during the close instead of after it.
How it works
- An administrator (or a user with the right permission) creates monitoring rules that describe the transactions you want to catch. For example, entries over a certain amount, to a particular account, or with unexpected attributes.
- As CloseCore syncs transactions from your ERP, it evaluates them against your rules.
- When a transaction matches, CloseCore raises a transaction alert.
Working with alerts
You can review alerts, investigate the underlying transaction, and acknowledge an alert (updating its status) once you've handled it. You can also be notified of new alerts by email, Slack, Teams, or Zoom. Enable Transaction alerts on your notification settings page.
Managing rules
Monitoring rules are managed as part of your organization's configuration. See Managing integrations and Roles & permissions for who can create and edit them.
