Managing integrations

CloseCore connects to your ERP, your cloud file storage, and your messaging tools. This page covers how administrators manage those connections; step-by-step setup for each system lives in the Integrations section.

Manage all connections on Admin → Integrations. The page has two tabs: Connections for ERP and storage credentials, and Microsoft admin consent for IT-level Microsoft approval.

ERP connections​

CloseCore supports self-service connections for many ERPs and guided connections for others. You can connect multiple ERPs to one CloseCore instance.

ERP credentials are organization-level — you add them once here, then map each credential to one or more subsidiaries under Admin → Subsidiaries. Detailed setup instructions for each system are in ERP integrations.

On the Connections tab, each ERP card shows:

  • Status (Connected, Setup required, Update required, or Error)
  • Subsidiary count linked to that credential
  • Buttons to import subsidiaries or view existing mappings
  • For write-capable ERPs (e.g. QuickBooks, NetSuite): a Configure button for posting settings and, for NetSuite, RESTlet version management

Cloud storage​

CloseCore integrates with OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. You'll connect storage during initial setup, and you can connect multiple accounts.

  • Connect with any account that has edit access to the folders CloseCore will manage. Many teams use a dedicated account with access only to the necessary folders (for example, closecore@yourdomain.com).
  • Microsoft (OneDrive) connections may also require IT admin consent — see the Microsoft admin consent section below and the SharePoint & OneDrive guide.
warning

Never directly delete or rename any of the CloseCore folders in your cloud storage, from the root folder down to the monthly recurring folders. Doing so breaks CloseCore's integration with those folders. Manage folders from CloseCore instead (see Folder structure & recurring folders).

Reconnecting after a disconnect​

If a storage connection drops — for example, because the connected account is removed or an admin revokes access — go to Admin → Integrations → Connections, find the affected storage card, and click Reconnect. This re-runs the OAuth flow for that provider.

Access management​

All files and folders shown in CloseCore live in your storage system. Except for restricted folders, CloseCore does not manage file access. You're responsible for that in your cloud storage.

Spreadsheets​

CloseCore reads reconciliation balance tags from both Excel and Google Sheets with no extra configuration.

OneDrive and other Microsoft integrations require tenant-wide admin consent from an Entra (Azure AD) administrator. This is a one-time step per Microsoft tenant, separate from the user account that actually connects storage afterward.

Go to Admin → Integrations → Microsoft admin consent to:

  • Record consent for each CloseCore application (grant admin consent via Microsoft's OAuth flow)
  • Re-grant consent after permission scopes change or a previous consent expires
  • Manage multiple Microsoft tenants if your organization has more than one

For Microsoft Teams, approval works differently: the CloseCore Teams app is added through the Teams admin center (not this Entra consent flow). An IT admin allows the app in Teams admin center under Teams apps → Manage apps, then members can add it from Apps in Teams to receive close notifications.

Messaging integrations deliver notifications to your team's chat platform (by default, notifications go to email). See Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom for setup details.
