Managing users
Manage your team from Admin → Users. From here you can invite users, manage active users, assign roles, and configure subsidiary access.
SSO users
If your organization uses SSO, users are managed through your identity provider, not in CloseCore. Assign users to CloseCore in your SSO provider; their CloseCore accounts are created the first time they sign in.
- If you mapped roles when SSO was set up, users get the mapped role; otherwise they default to the Accountant role.
- You can't invite SSO users from the CloseCore interface: add them in your provider.
Non-SSO users
Users can sign in with Microsoft, Google, or email/password.
To invite one, click + Invite User, enter the user's email, and select a role. They'll receive an email invitation to set up their account.
Organizations with both SSO and non-SSO users
You can run a single CloseCore instance with both SSO and non-SSO users (this is configured during initial setup). SSO users must sign in with SSO; you can still invite non-SSO users from the CloseCore interface.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Any user can turn on 2FA from Profile in the user menu.
- Administrators with the Manage 2FA permission can reset or require 2FA for another user.
- You can require 2FA for everyone in your organization. This is an org-wide setting. Contact CloseCore to enable or disable it.
Deleting users
Click the trash icon next to a user to delete them. If the user is assigned to any tasks, you'll be prompted to reassign all of their tasks to another user first.
