NetSuite

CloseCore connects to NetSuite using Token-Based Authentication (TBA). This guide is for a NetSuite administrator. You'll create an integration record, a role, and access tokens, then enter five values into CloseCore.

You'll ultimately provide CloseCore with:

  • Company ID (the COMPANYID in your NetSuite URL, COMPANYID.app.netsuite.com)
  • Consumer Key and Consumer Secret
  • Token ID and Token Secret

1. Enable features​

Go to Setup → Company → Enable Features → SuiteCloud, and under Manage Authentication enable Token-Based Authentication. On the same page, also make sure SOAP Web Services and REST Web Services are enabled. Save.

2. Create an integration​

Go to Setup → Integration → Manage Integrations → New.

  1. Name it (for example, "CloseCore Integration") and set State to Enabled.
  2. Under Authentication, select Token-Based Authentication. Save.
  3. Save the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. You'll enter these in CloseCore.

3. Create a role​

CloseCore will provide you with a detailed permissions list during setup. Use that list to configure a role under Setup → Users/Roles → Manage Roles.

Then add the role to your user under Setup → Users/Roles → Manage Users → Edit → Access.

4. Create access tokens​

Go to Setup → Users/Roles → Access Tokens → New. Select the Application Name (the integration you created), the user, and the role, then Save. Record the Token ID and Token Secret.

5. Enter the values into CloseCore​

  1. Go to Admin → ERP and select the entity to set up.
  2. Click Connect to ERP → NetSuite.
  3. Enter the Account ID (Company ID), Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Token ID, and Token Secret.
  4. Click Connect.
