Dynamics 365 Business Central

CloseCore reads data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Connecting requires a Microsoft Entra / Azure AD admin to whitelist CloseCore's application in two places, then a sign-in from CloseCore.

Scopes requested: Dynamics 365 Business Central (API.ReadWrite.All Automation.ReadWrite.All AdminCenter.ReadWrite.All) and Microsoft Graph (User.Read).

1. Whitelist the app in Business Central​

  1. Search for entra and open Microsoft Entra Applications.
  2. Click + New.
  3. Add CloseCore's client ID (f98b3bb8-d77e-42a0-8de2-c1df7da6f21a) and set the state to Enabled.
  4. Add these permission sets: D365 FINANCE and D365 INTERCOMPANY CE.

2. Whitelist the app in the Business Central Admin Center​

  1. In Business Central, click the gear (top right) and open Admin Center.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Microsoft Entra Apps.
  3. Click Authorize Microsoft Entra app and add the client ID (f98b3bb8-d77e-42a0-8de2-c1df7da6f21a).

3. Connect from CloseCore​

  1. Sign in at closecore.com.
  2. On the setup page or the ERP connection page, create a new Dynamics 365 connection.
  3. Sign in with Microsoft and grant CloseCore access to Business Central.
