Sage Intacct

CloseCore connects to Sage Intacct through Web Services. This guide is for a Sage Intacct administrator: you'll enable Web Services, authorize CloseCore's sender ID, create a role and a Web Services user, then finish the connection with CloseCore on a short call.

1. Subscribe to Web Services

Go to Company → Admin → Subscriptions, find Web Services, and subscribe. You can ignore the warning about additional charges.

2. Authorize CloseCore's sender ID

Go to Company → Setup → Company → Edit → Security. In Web Services authorizations, add CloseCore's sender ID:

CloseCoreMPP

3. Create a role

Go to Company → Roles → Add, name it (for example, "CloseCore"), and save. CloseCore will provide you with a detailed permissions list during setup. Use that list to configure the role's subscriptions, then save the role.

4. Create a Web Services user

Go to Company → Web Services Users → New:

  • User ID (for example, closecore)
  • An email address that can receive mail (the new user's password is sent there)
  • A contact (first/last name is enough, e.g. CloseCore / Implementation)
  • User Type: Business User

On the Roles information tab, select the CloseCore role you created, then Save. Configure entity access using the permissions list provided by CloseCore. You can ignore any charge warning.

If you later change the role's permissions, you must return to the Web Services user, click Edit, and Save it again so Sage Intacct refreshes the user's permissions.

5. Finish with CloseCore

Email support@closecore.com (or your CloseCore contact) to schedule a short integration call to complete the connection.
